The National Voice of the APA Legal Community Since 1988

The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) is the national association of Asian Pacific American attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students. NAPABA represents the interests of over 50,000 attorneys and 81 national, state, and local bar associations. Its members include solo practitioners, large firm lawyers, corporate counsel, legal services and non-profit attorneys, and lawyers serving at all levels of government. NAPABA engages in legislative and policy advocacy, promotes Asian Pacific American political leadership and political appointments, and builds coalitions within the legal profession and the community at large. NAPABA also serves as a resource for government agencies, members of Congress, and public service organizations about Asian Pacific Americans in the legal profession, civil rights, and diversity in the courts.

Introducing the NAPABA Inspirational Video Series!

Currently, our country is deeply divided and there is a need for understanding and tolerance. Thus, the theme of this campaign—inclusion. Through these videos, we hope to bring people together by educating lawyers and non-lawyers that Asian Pacific Americans are not “foreigners,” but people who contribute to society and who have shared values and deserve all of the rights and protections to which all Americans are entitled. Our Asian Pacific American attorney members are diverse, inspiring, and courageous. The members we feature in these videos show how woven their lives have been in the American experience, how they’ve been impacted by social policy in America, and that they are just like everyone else . . . trying to achieve the American dream.

The NAPABA Inspirational Video Series begins today featuring Neal Katyal, partner at Hogan Lovells and former acting United States solicitor general. Through March 2018, we will be releasing one video during the first week of each month.

These are your stories. These are our stories. These are NAPABA's stories.
